Business modelling of C&I and utility-scale PV and BESS

The optimal industrial solar and li-ion battery configuration can only be determined through detailed engineering and economic simulations. We size our systems using historical irradiation data, quarter-hourly consumption data, and validated lithium-ion battery models. We take into account the operation of the batteries, the PV system and the energy management system (EMS), the characteristics of the grid connection point and installation environment (like zero feed-in limitation), as well as transmission, distribution and capacity fees and tariffs.

We believe that investor and financier risks can only be minimized through detailed, accurate modelling, which is why our solutions rely on data and transparent calculations.

About Us

Our team members collectively have more than 25 years of research and development experience in the design of electric (and hybrid) aircraft propulsion systems, li-ion battery modelling and sizing. Our aerospace projects are supported by several publications and patents.

We aim to leverage our R&D background and the tools of digitalization to create pioneering services that can guarantee energy security and further promote the adoption of renewable technologies.

In recent years, our experience has expanded to industrial lithium-ion battery state-of-health, degradation and lifetime analysis, across systems ranging from 10 kWh to 100 MWh. To date, we have modelled nearly 1 GWh of storage capacity across more than 100 industrial solar projects and 50 utility-scale storage projects.
